This board of city council members should be impeached!! They don't care about the 'air quality' (more cars) Bend is going down the tubes, due to Over Growth. They want to put 2,000 new homes by the landfill on 27th street. Enough is enough!!

96 units is too many people for this area of town. I’m concerned about traffic, fire danger and congestion of escape routes and this is not in line with the original proposal. In addition an apartment building does not fit in with the neighborhood. There is no public transportation. Perhaps we need to stop all the building. This town is not equipped with the infrastructure to grow at this pace. We need new medical facilities, public transportation, more restaurants, etc.

We were told there would be a limited number of townhomes - not 96 apartments. Not sure we would have bought our home knowing 96 apartments would be built instead of the townhomes. Definitely feels like a betrayal.

Hey Taylor - did you come to the meeting on Tuesday. I want to share that I too was feeling LIED to - the marketing and sales master plan and well as the website had NOTHING about this. When I posted my concerns for this trickery on NEXT DOOR - the builder wrote this back to me
Stonecreek is a master plan approved by the city in 2014. Density and zoning was approved. Density was actually required by the city. This is not a bait and switch as you advertise to people publicly. Your statements carry liability.
Townhomes, condos, or apartments were approved and required by the city. Read it before you gather a crowd. You will look a fool.

Unfortunately it not a request -- the meeting was to tell us - this IS happening. When I posted my concerns about a bait and switch - this is what the builder privately sent to me

Well - we were all not shared the complete master plan. When I made my upset know on the NEXTDOOR App - about this BAIT and SWITCH from Townhomes to Apartment units - the builder sent me this private message

Hi Colin - I thought the same thing -- not what I was told. When I shared this on the Nextdoor App - the builder himself wrote this to me

Hi Marden - As I posted to other person - I feel the same way. As a matter of fact, when I shared that on NextDoor App the Builder himself came after me -- he sent me this (and so much more)

Parking of nearby apartment complex is already a nightmare. Cannot even drive down Cameron without pulling over for another car to pass. We also confirmed the space proposed here would NOT be apartments before choosing to buy a home in Stone Creek. This feels like a betrayal.

This subdivision was built on the pretext of 32 townhomes. People bought in good faith and good money on these homes believing that. Traffic and parking in this little area will just be atrocious. The infrastructure can’t handle that many people in this area.

This was not part of the plan when we bought the house. Parking is going to be a disaster.

When we bought property here this was not the plan. I don't want to have to deal with the parking overflow. The builders are not going to put enough parking for the population density and like the other apartment buildings in the area parking will spill out into the street.
