After quite a few years of coaching my three kids (13, 11, 8), sitting on committees and helping out with FAN sports, I am running for one of the open spots this April. I would appreciate the support of any parent who has a child in FAN sports (Football, Cheering, Basketball) this current year to sign this petition - need 50 verified signatures to be considered.

I have been hearing from several parents about the need for better equipment maintenance and clearer communication from the board. These conversations reinforce why I am stepping up to take on this role for my own children and yours.

Seeing this level of backing from our community has been truly overwhelming. Knowing that so many of you trust me to represent our kids on the FAN board gives me a lot of confidence for the upcoming transition. I am already preparing for the next steps.

I’m confused why we need a petition to vouch for such a stand-up individual. Devoted sports dad who is always there to help. It would be ideal for FAN to have him on board. No question.
Yes! Steve is always at the fields helping out. He would be awesome for the board.
I worked alongside Mr. Malia coaching taxi football. During this time I saw first hand his commitment and patience as a coach and father. He was always open minded and thoroughly weighed out what each and every decision would cause. He is a perfect candidate
Steve is very conscientious. He is driven by his inner sense of what is right. He will do a great job!!
Steve is the best guy for the job. He knows how to treat the kids and keep things fair. We need more people like him involved.

Steve is a great parent and a committed coach. In business or on the field, Steve has the judgment and the temperament that would be a fantastic asset to the Board. He has our full and unequivocal support.
