Hello,
My name is Patrick Foley. I am married to Valerie and have two sons, PJ and Shane. PJ is 14 years old and Shane is 9 years old. I have been a resident of the City of Northfield for 17 years. I am a fire fighter/EMT for the City of Pleasantville for 23 years. I have helped coach baseball and basketball in the various youth programs in Northfield. I have also volunteered for fundraising for FAN.
I am asking for your nomination to become a board member for FAN. If elected, I will be dedicated to improving our children's experiences in basketball, football and cheer. I feel that serving as IAFF Local 2616 President for the Pleasantville Fire Fighters union for a total of 8 years will aid me in decision making and listening to all ideas and concerns. I will work hard to strengthen and improve an already wonderful youth program.

The feedback from many of you lately highlights deep concerns about how we can better support our youth programs. These conversations are heavy but they keep me focused on the work ahead despite the long nights of preparation.

Patrick Foley is smart, driven, honest and kind.. He puts 100% into everything he does.. He is an all around great guy..

Pat is a stand up guy and always goes the extra mile for the kids. He would do great on the board.

I’ve known Patrick Foley for over 22 years. We are coworkers with The City of Pleasantville as Firefighters/EMTs. Also Ive served a term as Vice-President of our local with Pat being our President. I’ve been to Contract Negotiations,Grievance hearings, PERC hearings and more with Pat and he fought for his men tooth and nail for fairness for all union members.Pat is very knowledgeable with the by-laws and policies and was very thorough when dealing with the opposition. Pat also care for the community in which he works. He has been involved in different events helping the community, such as Operation Warm Coats for Kids Dr.Seuss Day(Reading to local schools) Food pantry,Turkey Giveaways for Thanksgiving and Christmas for Pleasantville Residents, Field Day for local Elementary Schools,RedCross Smoke Detector giveaway and installation for Local Residents, Cooking for National Night Out and So much. Not only do I consider Pat to be a Outstanding and Dedicated Employee, But also a Great Friend

Know Pat for years. He is honest and works hard. Northfield needs more people like him involved in the sports programs.
