Stepper Point is the beautiful headland on the west side of the Camel Estuary. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty, is a wildlife haven, part of the Heritage coast and enjoyed by thousands of people every year.

We, the undersigned, strongly object to the proposed building (Application PA 15/06153) of a lobster hatchery that would have an irreversible and devastating effect on this wonderful, un-spoilt and unique Cornish landscape.

For further information of the application that includes an access road, parking, lighting and fencing as well as a very large building, water tanks, solar power and a generator please go to www.cornwall.gov.uk/planning

lived at hawkers cove since I was 15 years of age and visited this location hundreds of time ,can assure you that there is a lot of wild life in the quarry ,including toads ,nutes, frogs ,dragon flies etc etc , all our tadpole and nutes were from the marsh and wetlands at Stepper

This is a completely inappropriate development in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The disruption to the peace and quiet of Stepper will outweigh any commercial benefits. The road to Hawkers Cove is already dangerous and any increase in traffic would be lunacy.

One only needs to look at section 13. on the planning application under the heading Biodiversity and Geological Conservation. Points a) b) & c) are all marked yes. These alone are a strong reasons for planning refusal.

The unspoiled natural beauty of this area is key to its popularity with tourists and hence to the local economy. Industrialisation of this site would be seriously detrimental, damaging local tourist industries. It is also likely to be damaging to wildlife.

This should Never ever get planning. The lobster hatchery in town is viable, accessible, workable, and is efficient in what it was intended for. Why decimate the most beautiful landscape of Stepper? I strongly oppose any development here, and always will!

If stepper point is left untouched then My children and My grandchildren will get a Chance to enjoy its beauty as much as i did growing up there. Build that hatchery and all that will be lost forever. Its a strange and sad feeling knowing that.

I strongly object to any development of the quarry at Stepper Point. The quarry is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and contains a large amount of wildlife. The proposed development is unnecessary and not only have a huge impact on the local environment due to increased traffic and installation of services for the development, but also be yet another unsightly blot on the landscape.
