I strongly object to any development of the quarry at Stepper Point. The quarry is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and contains a large amount of wildlife. The proposed development is unnecessary and not only have a huge impact on the local environment due to increased traffic and installation of services for the development, but also be yet another unsightly blot on the landscape.

Some people need to open there eyes and think about the impact things have on the wider environment.... When it's gone, it's gone!

This cannot happen. It would be an utter travesty. The headland is too beautiful. Please don't build on it.

I object to the planning applications as I believe that the site is not suitable for a commercial building of any sort.

Stepper point is such a beautiful part of our North Cornwall coast. It is and should be left unspoiled.

There shouldn't be any building on such an iconic landscape that means so much to so many people from Cornwall and much further afield. It's a slippery slope....

Resolve the issues with water quality at Padstow rather than create new problems at Stepper Point

What a shame it would be to spoil such a beautiful headland in Cornwall.

lived at hawkers cove since I was 15 years of age and visited this location hundreds of time ,can assure you that there is a lot of wild life in the quarry ,including toads ,nutes, frogs ,dragon flies etc etc , all our tadpole and nutes were from the marsh and wetlands at Stepper

Awful idea, are the planners blind or just stupid?!

Can't believe this is seriously being considered... But, in case it is, I definitely think it's a terrible idea. It would potentially ruin one of the most iconic landscapes in Cornwall. As I type I am looking at a painting of the Camel Estuary - Stepper and Pentire. A large man-made structure at the bottom of Stepper is unthinkable!
