Stark's Knob Geology Park is an invaluable teaching resource. I bring my students from Tufts University (near Boston, Mass) to this site. It will be impossible to replace the teaching and learning experience if we were to loose access to Stark's Knob Geology Park.

As a geology major at RPI, Stark's Knob was what made volcanic rocks REAL amid the sedimentary and metamorphic rocks of RPI field trips. Save the Knob.

This is an important educational field trip stop for educational purposes. It is a classical illustration of the far-traveled, faulted rocks in the central and eastern Hudson-Chaplain Valley.

Failing to protect Stark’s knob as a public disgrace. File the deed

We went there on undergraduate field trips from Cornell University. It is a classic locality.

I have only been to Stark's Knob once but the summit left a powerful impression on me. Please preserve this little treasure.

My father would bring us to Starks Knob as children, we need to preserve this landmark for generations to come.
