There has been multiple stories and even arrests to this situation; and its for a better education. Yep, people are being ARRESTED because they want their children to have a better education. I'm currently going through this same situation where I can not go to the desired high school because of where I live. Cobb County is arresting parents all because they are not in their zoned school. And I say that its not fair; its not fair that someone who's working long and hard to be someone in their life by just trying start out in a great school when they can't because of their address. This petition is to allow students to be able to go to any school they desire as long as they have a way of getting there and back. Yes I'm a victim of this situation, so I am going to speak up about this. I am currently enrolled (not for long) in Pebblebrook High School and I have to leave at the end of the semester because of my address. I'm actually closer to the school now than what I was when I WAS living in Cobb County. Please do me and many, many others who have to hide their real address to go to their dream school by just signing this petition. If you could do us a big favor and help us reach our goals, it would be a blessing.

k this child should be able to finish school here as long as he or she is not a problem and they are learning please help this child stay in school instead of dropping help
Let her stay!!! She's a good girl and she is striving for the best! She been in the school for 3 years now and has grown attached to the staff and students and they love her ambition!
Yes please let my grand daughter get to choose the school that she want to go to
I am also a victim of this I was supposed to finish up at pebble brook but had to move
They should be able to go to any school they want to , especially if they have their own transportation , No one should hinder a persons education . would get some great and intelligent young people that way !!

Every kid deserve to pick any school that they want too, and its not cool to let a kid out of school because of there address , every kid deseve to have a wonderful education.
