Port St. Lucie police responded at noon Wednesday to 304 SE Walton Lakes Drive on a domestic disturbance report. They were met by a crying woman who said her boyfriend, Kyle Romain Hall, got mad at his dog for tearing things up in the apartment and pooping on the floor.
She said he yelled at the dog and hit him, which made the dog cry and howl, according to a police report. She said the more the dog cried, the more severely Hall attacked him. She said Hall tied the dog to a bathtub faucet and began hitting it in the head with a sawed-off shotgun. The dog's howling continued, so Hall turned on the faucet and held the dog's head under the water.
The dog, named Scrappy, was barely conscious with swelling and severe cuts to his head. Police say Scrappy was dazed and unresponsive. Scrappy was taken to Animal Kindness Hospital for treatment.
By signing this petition, your voice will be added to tell the judge that we are outraged at this man's behavior. We must stand up for Scrappy and all the other innocent, voiceless victims of cruelty.
We insist on Mr. Hall be punished with the harshest penalties that can be throw at him. We insist on Mr. Hall being detained in a mental facility to gain treatment for his massive anger issues. We insist that this sociopath never be able to have another animal in his possession. We also hope there is a registry his man's name and information be added to warn the public of his crueltendencies.

Kyle Romain Hall is a monster who deserves the absolute maximum penalty for what he did to that defenseless dog. I am spending my time hounding the prosecutor to ensure they understand that our community will not tolerate this level of depravity. Do not look away from this brutality because the silence of the justice system is exactly what abusers like him rely on.

this is absolutely sick. lock him up and throw away the key. poor scrappy didnt deserve any of that. justice for the pup!
We have to stand up and demand the harshest punishment possible to people that commit acts of cruelty like this. They are sociopaths and are capable of harming any innocent being, Children, elderly, handicapped individuals, no one is safe around them! If they are caught, they must be held accountable!!!
