As a SBC grad, I find it horrible that liberty has essentially forced this to impact the special graduation celebrations of LC.

At the end of the day, fairness is the most important thing. I think that the calendar is a little too compressed, and it hinders the senior class from having what previous seniors have been guaranteed, in previous years. We SHOULD NOT have to accommodate ourselves for LU. If LU feels like there will be no room for their students' families, then tell them to move their date. That's all..

I want to be able to take that week to unwind and to celebrate all the hard work that I have put in over these four years! Senior week allows us to say goodbye to our fellow seniors as well as goodbye to Lynchburg College!

The graduation should at least be moved back to May 17 or to May 18.

I don't think that Liberty's founder would like the way the school is treating his alma mater. A good neighbor should show some respect.

LU is taking over everything! Why can't they move there date to the 7th & leave LC's for the 14th!!!

Give the students what they PAID for! They didn't pay to have rushed exam weeks or shortened schedules. They did pay to have their senior week and to receive their diplomas on time!

So disappointed in LC and gives me another reason to hate LU. All I'm asking is for LC to change things to be like they always are and to communicate with their student body. This affects all of us. And it's taking away from our tradition. I just don't get why our school, which is over 100 years old, has to bend everything for a college that is just over 40 years old. I feel like we'd have more say than anything but guess not.

The students attend and are dedicated to LC. Why is this even a question of anything less than disrespect and disregard for a dedicated student body?
