Each year, the United States Postal Service honors a handful of Americans who have endeared themselves to the nation with their talent, service or humanity by paying tribute to these unique individuals with a commemorative stamp. Danny Thomas, the late entertainer and founder of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, has certainly earned a place among this prestigious group. Supporters of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital have submitted a proposal to create a Danny Thomas stamp. By signing this petition I offer my support for the creation of a stamp commemorating Danny Thomas. I understand that this petition will be sent to the United States Postal Service Citizens Stamp Advisory Committee, which reviews all stamp proposals.
