The Transition to Adult Provision (or TAP) offers students with special educational needs who've left college the opportunity to stay in education for an extra 2 or 3 years, so to give them life and social skills, and make sure they reach their full potential. Swansea College has proposed to reduce activity for learners over 19, which will mean the closure of TAP, which has 30 students, and 10 staff. The closure of TAP will mean that the special educational needs of these students can not me met anywhere, it will reduce the quality of life of these students given that there is no alternative

So unfair. TAP makes a massive difference to their lives and the staff are brilliant. Leave it alone.

This place is a lifeline for my son. He has come on so much since he started here. You cannot just take that away from them.

Ridiculous decision. If you close this facility these young people will be left with nothing to do. It is a vital service for our community.

They need this extra time to learn skills for the real world. Why cut funding for the most vulnerable? Shame on you.
