This is so unfair. We pay taxes and expect our local schools to be protected.
Lived in this area for 20 years and this school has always been a staple. DPCDSB needs to look at the community impact not just the budget.
St Rose is the heart of our neighbourhood. Where are the kids even supposed to go if this closes? Ridiculous.
PLEASE KEEP IT OPEN! My family has been at this school for generations, it would be a huge mistake to close it.
My kids go here and we love the staff. Dont shut it down over numbers on a spreadsheet.

If the number of nuns is insufficient it can be complemented by lay people, that does not justify getting rid of the IHM Nuns. They could all complement and support each support. The archdiocese position reeks of political hand washing! And the pastor autocratic statement that "HE WANTS" a lay person to head the school is equally not acceptable.
