ACT need their cadets!!! The cadets are the foundation to St. John, and it's the little people that make the big people big, like Shannon Nol says, so bring back cadets and keep it going because without them St. John is actually doomed.

St John is such an important thing in so many of our lives, it should not be taken away from those that value the skills they have gained from there experience in this organisation

i do hope youth still goes on as im in new zealand st john youth and i love it to bits and i dont know what id ddo without it so i dont wanna have thousands of other people having that happen to them :)

I know that St John Ambulance means so much to everyone, especially the cadets involved in the organisation. It would be a great loss to lose the cadets in ACT, as they play such a vital role in so many of their lives

Since I'm a Cadet Leader for ACT Cadets, I totally agree with this. :) it needs to come back.

St John youth is an amazing program that i personally believe every young person on this earth should have the opportunity to take part in. It is a program that develops the leaders we need in our society and gives young people the skills and ability to save life's. I recently travelled to Sydney to take part in the international cadet camp run by st john and had the pleasure of meeting the ACT cadets. They are all such amazing young people and are so passionate about the program. Keep is up and running!!

In an era when people are less community minded and more concerned with their own welfare, and when many young peoples activities outside of school centre around the computer or mobile phone, ANY yputh program which encourages social interaction and responsibility, confidence building, interpersonal skills and communication, problem solving and teamwork (to name but a few) are essential. St John Cadets is a fantastic example of a youth development program that does all this,with the added bonus of teaching invaluable life saving skills and knowledge. Cadets have been been of St John in Australia nearing 90 years. For something that it is a charitable organisation, an issue such as 'funding' should nit be allowed to force this program to cease.

St John means so much to me as well and i cant imagine my life without St John... i can only imagine how those St Johnies should feel. i hope everything works for them.. Goodluck guys!

St. John cadets assists children in their development to become meaningful and valuable members of society. It provides life skills and direction to so many.

St John Youth is a fantastic organisation and I've made so many friends because of it. Everyone deserves this opportunity!
