Discussions with local council representatives regarding the proposed drop off zone are currently underway. I appreciate the feedback many of you have provided concerning the daily traffic congestion on Fletcher Street.

The level of engagement regarding the proposed drop off zone reflects a shared commitment to the safety of our children. This momentum confirms that our community prioritizes orderly traffic flow and pedestrian security during morning hours.

I am in full support of this petition/recommendation. St Catherine's is in a residential area and there are parking restrictions that the council have imposed in recent years which makes it very difficult to safely drop off/pick up your children from school. This would definitely be a wonderful solution to the current chaos.
This is much needed. Fletcher St and Bemm St are so busy in the morning when wanting to just drop off. It would be wonderful to know that kids are safe inside the school grounds instead of still walking down the street or around the corner when parking is so difficult.
We definitely need a Drop Off Zone not only would it keep our children safe it would cut down on the chaos in the surrounding streets.
We've seen the recent tragedy at St Leonards. Let's make it safer for our children and families.

I live on the street and see the daily chaos that compromises the safety of the children every day. Something must be done! Before someone gets hurt!
