SRA/TPWF/LDWF Spraying Answers
This petition is for those who use Toledo Bend, and/or live on the Bend, who demand the answers they deserve as to why there is so much spraying going on in areas that don't need it. There's video proof of it, yet the SRA/TPWF/LDWF acts as if they know nothing about it. If we get enough signatures, I believe we can force them to answer us, or give us a report on their reasoning's.

The silence from the agencies is becoming heavy but I am reading your stories about what this water means to you. We are not going to let them ignore the evidence of these unnecessary chemicals appearing on our lake.

Seeing this kind of momentum feels heavy because it confirms so many of us are watching the same destruction. I am exhausted by the silence from those in charge, but the attention this is finally getting gives me the fuel to keep pushing for the truth.

Why not be open about the situation there are other ways to remove salvina also other than spraying you can use skimmers
I live here on Toledo Bend and pay taxes in Sabine County. I feel like I have the right to know why the spraying is being done.
Why spray during spawn and kill what the bass are using for cover. We witnessed last summer what yall did to Indian mounds area
I get to come down here once a year. Vacation to see my parents and get some bass fishing in. I come down same time same place every year. San Miguel area this year has no grass at all. Weird, just wondering what's going on? James McElroy from Colorado
Curious about the spraying on Toledo bend. I'm told it is to control the salvania. I have seen the air boat spraying. How does this chemical effect the fish the water. Evidently it kills all vegetation as is plain to see in the areas that it has been used. There is no vegetation whatsoever in the areas it is being used. Vegetation is necessary to have a healthy fish population. We can already see what it does to turtles they are dead all over the lake. Some of the water in Toledo bend is used as drinking water for local towns. How does this chemical effect the water for human consumption.
It's sad to see the #1 lake in the country change this much in 3 years just because of them killing all the grass

We religiously fish Toledo and understand how invasive the Salvinia, but spraying in areas that are not infested is causing harm to other animals and plants that are needed to create a healthy ecosystem. Please explain why we are spraying areas without any salvina present and why hundreds upon hundreds of turtles of different species are washing ashore dead?
