We would like to have back to back, a morning undergrad ceremony and an afternoon grad ceremony, so that our family and friends do not have to sit through a 4-6 hour event. Many of us will have children there but lets be honest, thats a long event even for the adults! Once the under grads graduate there can be a short interlude while the grad families are seated. Of course this idea is up for editing but the idea is to split it up somehow.

The feedback regarding the length of the upcoming ceremony confirms that many families share this concern. I am currently preparing a formal proposal for the administration to demonstrate why separating the undergraduate and graduate sessions is a practical solution for everyone attending.

PLEASE split it up. 6 hours is way too long for everyone.
I have young children that cannot sit through that long of a ceremony but still want to be there. Splitting it would be a huge help!
