The track is finally coming back to Weymouth. I am completely drained after this long struggle but I am glad we held our ground until they listened. We need to stay alert to ensure the plans follow through exactly as promised.

Reaching 250 signatures feels like a heavy weight lifted off my shoulders after so many silent days. It has been exhausting to keep pushing for this, but seeing the count climb keeps me moving forward.

I haven't been to Weymouth for a long time now, one of the last times I came was for Speedway, and the time before, and the time before that also. Without doubt Speedway WILL attract extra visitors to the town. All spending money and time in the area.
So miss my Friday nights at the Wessex .So hope speedway can soon return to town .I have traveled from Wimborne to all but a few meetings held since 1979
Having been part of working for getting PP before with abrian White it is a shame to see that Speedway is back in this situation. Weymouth is part of the Speedway World and has helped to bring on many Speedway riders including my son
Speedway has a long history in Weymouth. It's loss has made me and I am sure many others think twice about holidaying in the town.
Fantastic family sport and you only have to look at our near neighbours Poole at how well the club and council work well together. Great for tourism and local family activities to do.
People need a chance to follow their pursuits. Take away their dreams and passions and replace it with the chance to earn a few taxes will surely kill a town.

This is a great event bring people together and wouldn't people rather know that they r riding there bikes on this track than doing it in the wrong places braking laws and getting hurt
