In 2012 the aim is to keep the 'Wildcats' profile high in the media with a series of challenge fixtures, 7 man team events and 4 Team events. Full details will be carried on the clubs website.

I put in many many hours constructing the Safety fence for the past two managements, with others, who all worked very hard. It has now been totally destroyed. We would love to see Speedway back in the Weymouth district.
As a former general manager of the wildcats 1979-2003, I find it hard to believe that the people responsible for the demolition of the speedway arena, were allowed to demolish everything without the necessary planning permission, especially when the 'Change of use' planning application, was refused.
Used to go on holiday every year to Weymouth and enjoy the Speedway but have not been back since it closed and i'm going back to the old Wessex Stadium days. A valuable tourist attraction sadly missed.
I Got my wife into speedway when on our Holiday at Weymouth I took her to her 1st speedway meeting where a young Lewis Bridger had just started riding for Weymouth she is hooked on it now and we miss the fantastic atmosphere at Weymouth plus the friendly people and most of all the speedway DONT LET IT DIE
Weymouth need speedway, Leicester have been a great example of just what is possible when a few supporters get together to make a difference. I wish the Wildcats every success.

I'm a student at budmouth college and we have an upcoming radio station so if you were to get a track back we would be happy do do some sort of sponsorship agreement with your sound and lighting side of things
