Our streets, Arten Ave and Creekview Ave are used as a shortcut to
enter and exit Oxford Street and Regent Street and sometimes to avoid
traffic on Elgin Mills and the Yonge/Elgin Mill corner.
The
majority of the cars do not obey the speed limit of 40 km and 20 km at
the bend connecting Creekview and Arten. The bend has a blind spot and
is potentially prone to accident.
Our streets are sometimes used as racing streets by cars and motorbikes.
Small parquet on Arten Street designed primarily for children of the neighbourhood poses a serious threat from speedy cars.

I have been reading the stories you all share about the near misses near the park and it is truly sobering. It turns out I am not the only one worried about these cars when I walk outside my front door. Thank you for making me realize that this is a problem we are facing together.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many neighbors feel the same concern about our streets. This momentum belongs entirely to the people who took the time to speak up for our children's safety.

Cars speeding by and I am worried for my son who plays basketball on the driveway. The ball goes on the road and I worry about the speeding cars. One day I was outside and yelled to the driver to slow down. He stopped the car and swore at me and was extremely rude! I have noticed that people take Creekview/Arten as a shortcut and they feel they can speed through our streets. I am also worried about our Seniors who go out for walks.
I agree to put speed bump in the area because there are cars speeding through our local street. Problems with cars speeding: - Dangerous for pedestrians, especially kids and elders. - Cause noises
No speeding
Too many cars driving at a great speed everyday
Need speed bumps before we have a fatality and it could be a child
We need bumper in our area
Request to install the speed bumper on both Arten Ave and Creekview Ave

The corner where Arten meets Creekview is a disaster waiting to happen. People fly around that bend way too fast and dont even look for kids playing. Put the humps in before someone gets hit
