The Johannesburg Roads Agency continues to ignore our pleas while drivers treat this school zone like a racetrack. I am currently mapping out every near-miss report you have sent me so we can force them to face the blood on their hands.

The momentum behind this demand is undeniable now and it proves the community has had enough of the Johannesburg Roads Agency ignoring our safety. These bureaucrats will no longer be able to pretend that cars blowing through that intersection at Orban School is acceptable behavior.

I'm a Westdene resident and my grandchild attend Orban School. Children's safety not negotiable! Kind regards Hans
This 4way stop has never been safe. Never think that because there are stop signs that there will be people who always follow the rules of the road. This intersection is dangerously close to St Orbans, to so many children's lives. Speed bumps must be put up. Or traffic lights. Children deserve first way of life.
The intersection also has a pedestrian crossing where people cross with children and ayr road traffic does not stop for them at this stop
This intersection is so dangerous. Even the police don't stop here! I suggest getting a metro police officer to watch the intersection and see how many people break the law here. It is really a dangerous intersection.
Please ensure no pedestrian and motorists lives are lost as motorist s use Ayr Road as a speedway home.curve humps extend from Winchester to Avalanche so motorists don't go round block to escape humps. And from Winchester down hill which is also speeding zone causing noise to residents in flats above.
For our children's safety!!
Motorists are really driving at phenomenal high speeds in Ayr Road. The students safety is a huge concern here.

Is JMPD & JRA going to wait for a child or group of children to be killed before doing their job here?
