I think this would benefit all who live here and all who pass through! Many cars have been wrote off and crashed into and scratched due to idiots driving through too fast and a horrific incident of late outside the scout hall and where many children, their parents and pets with them gather there to collect their children and drop them off. I think this would be an amazing thing to happen and would put many at ease I also think the bus route should remain as is!! And not pass through Wereton road as these cause just as much trouble as people speeding!!

It was my fiances cousin who was knocked down and his poor puppy was killed. Something needs to be done so someone isn't killed!

Anything that makes our roads safer is a good thing! Such a tragic thing to have happened.

Personally the whole parish needs looking at. There needs to be traffic measures put in place on a number of roads. Wereton Road, Church St, New Road, Ravens Lane, Bignall End Bank. Some Drivers are using these main roads as a rat run.

As a resident on wereton road for 25 years I think the speed bumps would be a huge help towards the safety of the residents. I've witnessed plenty on near misses and collisions between motorists and pedestrians, and sometimes fatalities! It's not safe as it is at the minute and As I have 3 under 5year olds I can really appreciate the need for addressing this matter!

Also Nantwich Road needs them, we constantly have the speed cameras parked up but at the quietest times of the day never at the busiest times, such a waste of tax payers money!

Someone has already been injured and a dog killed, what more will it take to get people to slow down.

I live in queen street and last year someone speeding and driving dangerously tried to overtake me as I turned into my drive, drove into the side of my car, mounted the pavement and drove off without stopping. This year my cat got run over by someone else speeding down queen street. Wereton road is incredibly dangerous as people double park and park on junctions so you can't see and people regularly drive up the pavement to get round. I am not surprised at all that this week there's been a hit and run where someone has been hospitalised and their poor puppy killed, I'm only surprised it doesn't happen more often. Considering there's the scouts hut and playing field in the area we're lucky no children were involved. And it's tight getting a car down there, here's hoping we never need a fire engine to get through! Something needs to be done to make this area safer 1) stop speeding 2) stop inconsiderate/ illegal parking 3) make sure there's room for emergency services. Does it really have to take a serious incident occurring for positive changes to occur??

They should a law that these must be in place on every residential street that is used as a main thorough through from other destinations.
