I don't usually agree with speed bumps... But in reality, what's the option?

I have travelled along that road often and it is terrible. Cars travelling too fast and too many cars parked up. Goodness knows how emergency services are supposed to reach anyone. Most of the time it seems like a one way street as you can't get past parked cars. Cars drive too fast and if anything is coming the other way there is nowhere to go, this is likely to cause more accidents.

Luckily no child was hurt but is is nontheless tragis

My Nephew Callan was the young man knocked down by the hit and run driver on this road and his dog killed out right ! He lucky to be alive and was standing waiting to collect his stepchildren from the scout hut this incident could of easily been fatalities of my Nephew and the children this is not a isolated incident there are issues in the area of anti social behaviour and irresponsible driving at speeds way above the limit for a built up residential area there are deaths waiting to happen here and I feel you need to take action to prevent further accidents and possible fatalities the trauma caused by this incident to this family's members action needs to be taken ASAP !

Speed bumps required urgently, also on Chester road which really should be a one way!

I know it is to late for Stanley but it might help someone else.

There will be more accidents due to irresponsible drivers. Someone will be killed if Speed Bumps are not put here.

This was my son and his new pup,he was waiting to pick the kids up from scouts a few minutes later this could of been complete multiple injuries even fatalities thank god this did not happen.but now still in shock they are all missing their poor little dog. Lets make sure nothing like this can be repeated speed humps are a must,no one should be going even 30mph in such a built up area. Keep it safe for everyone !

I have had to run across the road with a buggy with a 6 week old baby in a few times as cars suddenly appear too fast around the corner. If I hadn't of run on one occasion we would definatly have been hit. This has been on the junction where wereton rd become church st. So so dangerous. There's a few that speed around and no surprise from the estate. Maybe the odd undercover police might help or sneaky speed camera.

Agree and also needed in the surrounding villages. Alsagers Bank is a rat run. I regularly walk out towards Black Bank and hardly any cars do 30mph and there is no pavement.

We need these urgently in surrounding villages too !

Always been a rat run and accident waiting to happen- too many cars speeding up and down, narrow pavements and hardly any parking. I walk my dog along there everyday and have so many near misses with people dodging in and out of parked cars and going way faster than 30mph.

Needed before someone's killed!
