We recently went to a basketball game at NCC where their basketball team played a special needs team and all proceeds went to the Special Olympics. With only half their gym filled, they raised over $2000. Imagine what a full Campbell County gym could accomplish! On a Tuesday or Thursday night we would like to arrange a basketball game where CC basketball players play against some of the special needs kids. We’re hoping to get shirts made for the students and maybe even fundraiser shirts as well. All proceeds would go to the Special Olympics. ive been chatting with a few people who have experience putting together charity games and their advice has been super helpful for planning. im still waiting to hear back from mr ritter on a time to meet but im going to keep pushing until we get something on the calendar.

i honestly cant believe how much momentum we have right now. seeing everyone get behind this makes me think we can actually pull off that game at the gym. lets keep this energy going so we can show mr ritter just how much people want to see this happen.

DO IT!!! Such a cool idea and for a great cause too.
hope this happens soon, it would be a really fun night for the whole town and those kids deserve it more than anyone.
It would make everyone feel involved and access a lot of opportunities for kids that weren’t offered them before
Yall needa give them kids an amazing experience. Give them an amazing day for once.
This would be such an enjoyable event and we could raise so much money with t shirts!!
