I really thought this might just be a slow burn but the way people are showing up for this conversation is honestly kind of overwhelming in the best way possible. It feels like we are finally hitting that point where people actually have to pay attention to us because we have enough momentum to keep this train moving forward.

I stand behind NAMI! They help guide many people living with Mental illness. And yes, the. Q ",system" needs to catch up to the need that is out there. Thats another way NAMI helps: their Drop In Center. It's a safe space for talking about any issues you have going on, and pick up on a new solution you can try in y1our own life. There are also opportunities to take classes and get certified as a Peer Recovery Coach, or a Peer Support Leader!!
NAMI & the amazing people that show up everyday give our peers
who can be hurting, confused, or overwhelmed and
by using different options (play a card game, get the paper &
brushes out and start a masterpiece, take yourself away for bit in the Quiet Room where you can do things like meditative breathing, find a radio & pull up some good old Bach!!
NAMI & the people that work there are only there for one thing: to help guide people through the up's down's & sometimes sideways. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for all the help you've given me. I Pay It Fo0rward Every Day
