We would like a budget increase for the Santa Rosa county animal shelter to help fund a low-cost spay/ neuter clinic. We believe our county could benefit from having a clinic designed to help reduce the number of unwanted animals. We feel the number of animals euthanized per year far exceeds what should be acceptable in our community.

This would be wonderful for this county. There are so many strays and family pets who cannot afford to provide this service. My family alone would benefit greatly as we have several strays around who continue to repopulate!
Santa Rosa county needs to step up and provide this much needed service. For a just a $2 fee on annual taxes we could fund this and stop the killing of so many animals in this county.
We cannot continue to turn our heads while thousands of animals are euthanized. We need stricter enforcement of our animal control laws and stiffer fines for not having your roaming animals spayed and neutered. We need a budget increase in order to provide a spay and neuter clinic for our community.
Our community must take on the huge task of eliminating the birth of unwanted kittens. It is less expensive to vet feral cat colonies than it is to take them into shelter to euthanize.
This program is very important for Santa Rosa County, along with education and outreach; many people in this county do not understand that by not spaying/neutering their pets, they are contributing to the killing in shelters.
This is so necessary for our community-This is needed in every community

This is a much needed service in this county!!! It will pay off in the end with many fewer animals ending up at animal control being killed because there is not enough room! I also advocate for mandatory spay and neuter! Backyard breeders are a major problem and help increase the overpopulation of animals!
