This bar is in a business precinct, it is not unreasonable that a bar should bber allowed to open until 1am - they are only asking for the 2 nights of the week that are traditionally for people to go out and stay out a little later as it is the weekend. This request is not unreasonable and should be reconsidered by Council

Absolutely love this niche little bar, they offer so much support to local musicians and are exceptionally hospitable to anyone who comes through the door or chills out on the street. Great little icon for Sandringham!

There are other businesses nearby that have been granted permission to stay open, why can’t Sparrows? It will breathe some much needed life into the area and generate more income to surrounding businesses. It is not a roudy bar either! Really lovely service and people.

Such a great business, and a wonderful addition to our community. Allowing them to put a roof on their courtyard to extend the license would only help to contain any noise for neighbours and further enhance a local gem.

I discovered Sparrows Bar at Christmas when visiting family. What a great little venue, extension of trading hours would be a good thing. To be able to pop in for a cocktail after seeing a show in the city would finish the night on a high note.

I support the extension of trading hours for Sparrows in Sandringham. We love having a terrific venue like this so close to home, and petition council to support our community and our small traders in the Sandringham village. Keep Sandy Village vibrant!

As a Sandy resident, living on Abbott Street - I completely support Sparrows and hope the council's grants them approval. The village desperately needs this ❤️
