In 1983 a Civil War broke out in Sudan. This war has finally ended, but in Southern Sudan they continue to be at war against themselves. Approximately 47,200 people are seeking shelter. Relief workers are preparing additional roads and housing, as well as improving water, sanitation, and hygiene. Vulnerable communities in South Sudan have struggled to gain more than 700,000 new arrivals. I would like for schools and communities to give clothes, food and money to a designated refugee camp in Southern Sudan!
My kids went through their closets today and we have two big bags of clothes ready to send. hope this helps even a little bit.
