We want to send a message to the government to stop the violence in the Darfur region. Over 400,000 people have been killed in Darfur in what is being called genocide or ethnic cleansing. Over 1 million women and children have been raped. Over 2.5 million people have been displaced by the fighting. The refugee camps are over crowded and people are dying of starvation, dehydration, and diseases that are treatable.
