This is a much needed amenity for the people of Aviemore.

As a outdoor instructor who slipped a disc 2 years ago, swimming was what got me going again. Now, After a guelling day it was just great being able to walk 5 mins to get a swim that is totally crucial to keeping myself healthy. I really don’t have the time to travel so far to get a swim anywhere else, or the spare cash for the transportation and I’m now really worried about how stiff and sore I’ve been getting this month, sadly just a bath isn’t enough :( Please help me stay fit and healthy and let us use the pool.

I live in Kingussie. As a family we used the pool frequently and were looking forward to using it more over the winter months. Please reopen it!

This is very disappointing. I love to swim and we have a membership but now there is no place to swim. It is a crucial skill and we desperately need to know how to swim since we live near so many lochs and rivers. Please re-consider. A lot of people come here to swim but now where are they supposed to go?

We regularly planned an entire family day trip to Aviemore around a visit to the pool under the High Life scheme. The decision to pull out of the scheme means we will now go elsewhere.

Really disappointed that Macdonald's have done this, we used to enjoy spending our time up there. Sadly a change needs to happen or we will boycott

Such a valuable facility for the local community. Would be such a shame to permanently loose it.

Macdonalds has a duty to answer to the public including their own employees as to why they are removing this necessary facility from the town's use.

It is unacceptable that there is to be no High member access to a swimming pool in Aviemore. So many kids locally access lochs and rivers, they need a place to learn to swim safely and swimming is a form of exercise that is very kind on those less physically able. It allows older folks for whom long walks can be painful to continue to exercise.

We use the pool almost every day when my 4 year old is with me. He has been in tears several times because his favourite pool is closed.

Please let us have access to the pool. The community will be a poorer place without swimming facilities.

My sister, husband and two kids and my daughter and I would be very glad if this pool remains accessible to the public, kids who can swim are healthier, happier and safer, so it really makes no sense to close the pool to the public
