The feedback I keep getting is that this salon is the heartbeat of our neighborhood and losing it would change everything for the worse. I am meeting with board members behind closed doors to press them on their decision despite the exhaustion of fighting this battle daily.

Reaching this level of support shows me that the salon is as vital to this community as I always believed it was. The pushback from the Board has been exhausting to navigate alone but seeing so many of you stand with me makes the effort worth it.

I am a regular customer. The salon is very busy so it is well used by the community. The restaurant and real estate office, are almost always quite empty. The salon is an important part of our community. Let’s keep it that way!
We need this salon! My 92 year old husband doesn’t drive and has mobility issues. It would be difficult for me to take him elsewhere - nor do we want to! The salon is a great amenity. Please keep our salon!
The hair and nail salons are huge assets to the Islandwalk community. They are small businesses that deserve our support and they make our development more attractive, both to residents and potential buyers. They should Never be replaced by a non-revenue generating option.
I have been using the salon every season for about 18 years. It has been a BIG plus to have this service in Island Walk. It is terribly unfair not only to the owner who has invested so much love, toil and money in the shop, but to those of use who count on using this salon!
Please do not close this professional, COVID compliant Salon 914 in Island Walk. We, the residents need this viable salon for Men and Women. This place is a successful business, why would you choose to close a business that residents use?!!!

Louise Loebner- Dave Klancke and I have been owners of our home on Freeport Lane since 1999. I feel very strongly that a hair salon should remain a part of the amenities offered in Island Walk. !!!!

We think having the salon here with Laura running it is a key amenity. My wife and I have both use the salon for over a year and have been very satisfied. I think it would be a great loss for Island Walk to not have this salon.
