I and all of my siblings and some of their children have attended this school and gone on to higher education and many successful careers have been accomplished. I also walk in the gym during the week when I can and appreciate that the doors are open for us seniors. The atmosphere within the school is wonderful and everyone is friendly. The community support for this school is always evident and I feel that the community needs the school with it's children and teachers in order to survive. Keep the school where it is.

I have no children but I have friends that their children go to this close knit school and only hear good things about it!! Good things come in small packages!

a friend's daughter attends this school and has experienced significant success compared to her previous school - schools like this need to be kept open to keep such opportunities available to children who cannot be successful in other settings.

Please save our school. I attended this school from K-8 back in the 80's. The experience going to a small school was wonderful. You always felt a strong sense of pride and comradery. Dorchester Consolidated is truly a one of a kind school and needs to remain open.
