My stepson is currently a student at DCS, we noticed a significant improvement in his grades since moving to a smaller school. I also have a 5month old and had hoped she would also be able to attend DCS. I think the school is extremely important part of our community.

I would not be who I am today without Dorchester School's special brand of education; one with imagination and heart like only a rural school can provide. To close this school would be devastating to the community. Support rural New Brunswick by supporting rural schools.

Dorchester is an awesome school. I learned a lot and the teachers were always there to help. The larger school don't have that. Why make this school disappear and make them go to a school where they will get bullied. Most of the kids there moved away from the larger schools so they could get away from bulling or to get a better education. We are a tiny school but are hearts are big.

DCS is an amazing place. Although I never attended, nor do my own children, we have spent time there over the years.DCS has a feeling of community that is not exclusive. They welcome everyone, and you can't help but feel a sense of pride and ownership in the school. They offer so much to their students, in education and character building. Generations of great folk have passed through it's halls... it builds good citizens.

This school is a peice of history and Dorchester is a very special community. This was the first school i attended and i think its sad that they want to close it...It always comes down to money well what about the kids....I am a mom of a student who was just uprooted and moved from MHS to the middle of nowhere and lots of growing pains...its is hard on the kids. Think of them

Dorchester Consolidated School is a wonderful school. The staff are dedicated to the each child that enters the school. There is such a commitment to each student in that school. It would be a mistake to close this school!
