I have been reading your stories about summers spent by the paddling pool and they remind me why this space belongs to all of us. My own children deserve to grow up with the same free access to the park that I had. I am currently reaching out to local representatives to ensure our memories are not paved over by a commercial project.

Seeing this kind of momentum for the paddling pool reminds me of the summers I spent playing there as a child. It means the world to know that so many others value this space as much as I do.

Used to go here as a lad, take my own kids now. It would be a total waste to get rid of it just cause someone wants to stick a price tag on it.
Too many things are becoming private now. Keep it free for our kids, they deserve local spaces to play in summer without us having to pay every time.
my kids have been going there for years. absolutely terrible idea to charge for a pool that has always been for the people. leave it alone.
Disappointed that they think we want to pay to use something that has always been free. Its a heritage site for us all not just to make money.

This is just pure greed. Ponty park needs that pool left exactly as it is.
