Visitation Academy does not allow its Sophomore and Junior classes to go on out-of-state field trips while its 7th, 8th, and Freshman classes have gone on trips to Tennessee, Washington D.C., as well as others. We, the Sophomore and Junior classes, would like to petition for OUR classes to be able to take fun and educational trips as well.
I have been hearing so many stories from sophomores and juniors about the trips they missed out on during these past few years. It feels wrong that our grade levels are being left behind while others get to travel and build those memories together. I am currently putting together a formal request to present to the administration to show them exactly why this change is necessary.

Seeing this much support for our classes feels incredible because I know how much excitement we are missing out on. It is clear that I am not the only one who thinks we deserve these opportunities.

Yes! It's not very just that the younger grades are allowed to go on field trips and go out of state for a week when we barely got a 1 day in-state field trip.

I really hope they listen, it feels like we get left out of everything fun.

I agree, I have been at Visitation Academy for 14 years and I personally would enjoy to go on an out-of-state field trip.

Why do the 8th graders get D.C. but we get a day trip to the science center? Makes no sense.
