Snowbasin offers some of the best terrain in Utah, so why not incorporate that in the terrain parks? Yes there needs to be a new manager, but they need someone who will make Snowbasin parks different from other parks. No one is going to go to Snowbasin because they have a couple good down rails. They need to build natural features and not be so basic with all of their rails. Get someone creative and someone who actually cares about the sport.

like others have said, he has had plenty of time to prove himself, the features are unsafe and poorly maintained. I'm not giving Tim one hundred percent of the blame though. I also believe that it's the lack of commitment from snowbasin to build a decent park, we've seen the potential at the mountain when the dew tour was here.

Are you saying Marshall McGonegal‬? Because that is not the answer either. He is too young to take on the responsibility of running a Terrain Park for a mountain like Snowbasin. Snowbasin needs to bring in someone who either was an assistant mananger for a well known Terrain Park and knows the professional side of managing a mountain. Not someone who ran a small mountains terrain park for a year and didn't even do that much with it. Building a boxzilla like the canyons isn't going to change Snowbasin. Multiple lines that cater to all progessions of the sport as well as flow between the features is what Snowbasin needs. We also need a new Terrain Park manager who has connections in the industry between other well know Cat drivers.

Snowbasin by far offers one of the best natural terrains and overall ski enjoyment in the state of Utah. Where it lacks, Terrain Park. Every single year, Snowbasin and Tim hype a new era of a Terrain Parks at Snowbasin, but year after year I have been disappointed. I understand the culture that Snowbasin is trying to pertain to. And I understand that Snowabasin is nestled far North of Salt Lake City. But honestly, I think if Snowbasin were to get a new terrain park manager, and the terrain park increased, you would see an increase in season pass sales to the young demographic. That is where skiing and snowboarding is going. Eventually Snowbasin is going to have to change. I have been to a few different mountains this year besides my season pass to Snowbasin, and I was much more impressed with the other mountains Terrain Parks. Yet, their natural terrain and the amount of money the mountains had, was far inferior. Snowbasin, stop being a "gaper" mountain. Hire a terrain park manager that knows what he is doing, that understands the terrain park culture. I'm not saying fire Tim Eastley and remove him from his income. But move him to another part of the mountain where his skills can be used more usefully. He does not belong running a terrain park. If it is a money issue, get a fresh face that can be more creative with his resources. Year after year Snowbasin has to hire an almost competely new Terrain Park crew because the year before's crew quit midway through the season; due to Tim Eastley's manager skills and their frustration with keeping up a Terrain Park that THEY themselves did not enjoy riding. Snowbasin has it all. A fanstatic terrain, snow making capabilities, excellent lodges, friendly staff, and an awesome environment. Allocate some more resources to the Terrain Park, hire a fresh face to kickstart the Terrain Park, and watch the season pass sales sore in the coming years.
