If this succeeds and current subdivisions are forced to change schools, this would not be fair to those who chose their homes based on where their children would go to school.
I am vehemently opposed to these rezoning applications. Our schools, our roads and our community cannot withstand this many new residents moving here.

The roads in the area are already nearly impassable at certain times of day and weekends. Apartments would only add to the problems. I am opposed to the development of apartments in the Snellville area.

I am opposed to the two rezoning applications; (RZ 14-04 & LUP 14-03) and (RZ 14-03 & LUP 14-02) that would permit the development of 651 units including 523 apartments in the area around Eastside Medical Center.

I can barely get down hwy124 at lunch, after work and on weekends. Why make this problem worse? Bringing apartments will bring in a bad eliminate and bring our property values down. Put a golf course, a park, or just leave it alone.

Although I am not opposed to Snellville growing, I do not believe this is the appropriate place for apartments. We don't want our excellent schools overcrowded, nor crime invited into our sweet city. Please deny the two rezoning petitions RZ14-04 & LUP 14-3 and RZ 14-03 & LUP 14-02.

Respectfully request that the two rezoning petitions be denied. All the Snellville City Council needs to do is look across the street from Brisco Park or takes stroll on Highpoint Road south of Highway 78 to see what the new petitions will do to Snellville in 10 to 15 years. These petitions need to be considered together in addition to the new development of homes on Highpoint Road north of Highway 78 that will add nearly 200 homes and probably hundreds of new students to the Brookwood school cluster.

We moved from the Stone Mountain/Lithonia area to avoid this type of zoning, when our first-born was about to start kindergarten, so that we could be in the Brookwood district...don't want to be forced out by rezoning for our youngest to finish high school. No apartments for Snellville!

I drive a school bus for Brookwood Schools, traffic on Tree Lane, Web Gin and Dogwood Road is already a nightmare. Please, NO APARTMENTS!!!
