I feel this would be awesome if allowed to share social networking and even our wishlist. Time to decriminalize the sharing of social networking on SM! Traffic has NOT been good for over a year now and I'm ready to abandon ship. at LEAST let us share social networking if we can't get anything else we ask for. It's 2016 for crying out loud. Not like we can steal traffic from a site that has none. Smh

Other sites that have quite a bit more traffic than you according to the various traffic checking sites, allow us to share social media so your arguments that it will take traffic away from you are bogus.

I think if you've got a competitive site with competitive pay rates, competitive features, and great traffic, it'll turn out that models sharing their social media info can only help drive even more traffic. Models won't want to do shows elsewhere, and members won't want to convince them to "Skype bb?" The only good reason to fear models sharing social media accounts, in my opinion, is the fear/reality that the site is inferior and a better experience can be had elsewhere. I don't think this is QUITE the case yet, but the general buzz seems to be that things are borderline for many at the moment. Streamate, you should be more concerned and/or communicative about such things and what you're doing or planning to do to improve.
At the very least, a compromise to allow SOME sort of useful offline communication with our members would be SOMETHING, even if just on Streamate itself. As it is, profile character limits are minimal, and models cannot message members without receiving a message first (or at all, in some cases, I think?) Notifications for favourited models coming online are rudimentary at best. There is no option to receive an email notification when a member sends me a message on the site. There's no sort of newsfeed or blog-type feature besides the not-at-all popular gold club feature (are those even still a thing?) We are crippled on the actual site as well as off of it. Members and models want to keep in touch with each other more easily!

Live cams' unique competitive advantage in comparison with other adult media is interaction and personal connection. The social media prohibition on SM actively prevents me from making a lasting connection with my customers - which is a basic necessity according to marketing 101, even more so given the intimate nature of the transaction. Given that for every dollar I make, SM also makes a dollar, hobbling my business in such a profound way is absolute lunacy. Models hate this rule, customers hate this rule, SM loses out on money by having this rule; it's time for it to go. It appears that other sites haven't gone out of business allowing models to do their job however we like, so for goodness' sake get into the 21st century.

It's silly to ask performers to retweet your site, then penalize or make it forbidden for them to mention Twitter while streaming.

1. Its crucial to keep up with the competition. Every other site recognizes the need for followers in order to be successful. 2. Guys are constantly asking because they want to establish more of a connection. More connection means more money. 3. If i cant tell guys my twitter i lose potential followers who have no clue when im online because theyre not following me!!! Cmon man its common sense. It aint taking dollars out of your pocket to allow it. Thats backward thinking in 2016.
Hell yes
let it happen
