Streamate should realize that social media is something models can use to benefit themselfs and Streamate. Models can post on social media when they are planning to be on cam so members know when to come visit them on Streamate. It is a little silly that Streamate basically tries to pretend social media doesn't exist.

It's a little bit of self-promotion from the models that earn a living for themselves and the site owners so that they can potentially earn more $ - How the f**k is that a bad thing?!???

I am tired of SM being hypocrites and thinking they're upgrading, when they are DOWNGRADING. Every single cam server uses SMI, it's high tide they should get back in the game. I would like to see them include icon links in our broadcast screen for us like LiveJasmin & Chaturbate does. They have the technology. Tired of my favourite server going downhill!!

This *needs* to happen. As said below, being able to share our social media links will allow customers to find us & know when we get online which will get SM repeat business from these customers

Social media will help more than hurt. The reason businesses (including other cam sites, which have extremely high traffic and profits) use social media are 1. Establishing a direct connection - members will quickly be directed to streamate through our links when we are on cam. Models have tens and hundreds of thousands of followers, if every time we posted we were online on social media, an entire group of people that has already taken a liking to us on the site will see the link and click it. It will increase traffic, not decrease. 2. Improving interactivity and customer service - members will become more involved directly with Streamate models, not just when we are online. When members are browsing the site and looking for fun, they are not thinking about googling us. If we can TELL them directly where they can find us then many members will end up engaging more on-site, they will initially see us on SM, follow us on social media, and will have a much higher chance of visiting us repeatedly on SM which will in turn increase profits. 3. Strengthening Loyalty - Models are SM's biggest brand ambassadors. We are constantly marketing our brand, which is ourselves, and no one knows how to do that better than us. We have large followings, which grow exponentially when we can use social media to our full advantage. We KNOW how to market, and are learning more every day. Not only will social media use increase member loyalty to SM, it will also increase model loyalty to SM. Models will have more opportunities to use social media for special events, deals, raffles, etc. which will increase profits overall.
