We are long time Smoque fans, and cannot believe a beloved family driven grilling business would not only take advantage of a local BBQ restaurant, but a Chicago namesake. Not Weber. Smoque. Chicago is known for its food, and the owner is a mensch. Do not be the ugly corporate giant preying on legit talent. Do the right thing and stop using the Smoque name as your own - it isn’t yours to take, nor is it for sale. Do NOT mess with Chicagoans!

I found out about Smoque when my best man got married. They had it catered for their reception dinner. My husband & I fell in love with Smoque. Their food is AMAZING! Weber - back off. Don't mess with Smoque.

Smoque is an amazing BBQ joint in the City of Chicago. They have been in business almost 20 years and have created an amazing following throughout not just Chicago but the entire country . Small business at its best . Not sure how a big corporation like Weber , could even justify infringing on the SMOQUE trademark that they have held for years . Did Weber not do their due diligence when adding the Smoque name to their new grill or do they just not care ? I support SMOQUE Restaurant in The fight for their name ! A name means everything and an iconic brand like Weber should know that !!!

For what it's worth, when you Google smoque grill, Smoque BBQ is the first hit! Still grateful to Smoque for hosting our year end youth hockey party for Skokie Flyers in April 2016! You guys are the best!
