Surely there’s no trademark precedent to a company bully a small business out of their 20-year-old name

Weber - change your product name! This is an established business...

Weber can change it to Weber Smoke. Problem solved. As opposed to appropriating another institution’s name

Weber should respect the trademark and not play stupid games. Wish you all the best SMOQUE BBQ!

Weber, respectfully, don't be a d*ck. Smoque is well established as a brand in Chicago and it doesn't look good for your Weber brand to push around a beloved Chicago institution.

Weber really should use a name other than Smoque, to sell a pellet smoker.

Smoque has the trademark and it should be enforced.

Simply put "Smoque" is a play on words and due to that makes it possible to TM as it was done. Its sad Weber knew what they were doing with the naming of the grill. Its sad that they are in Chicago and know better. I see the loophole they will use but they could of made a deal.

The connection and corresponding harm to the Smoque brand could not be more clear. Weber very lazy and really shady! Thank you Smoque from making the best barbecue ever!

I love Weber, and I have a Weber Performer that I use 2-3x/week. But I love SMOQUE more. Barry and Al are top-notch guys and have built an incredible business with tons of sweat equity.
