This petition is to campaign to get some traffic calming measures put in place on the B2231- (lower road), Minster,Isle of Sheppey. This is following an accident on the 15th Oct 2011. Where a young boy Miles Rogers was knocked down by a car and left critically injured.Miles is currently in The Childrens Trust Rehabilitaion centre in Tadworth, Surrey. If we can can campaign to get some traffic calming measures in place then in future parents and children will be able to cross the road in a safe way, and prevent any other accidents happening.

Absolutely heartbreaking what happened to Miles. We have to make this road safer for everyone walking in the village.

Far too many near misses on this stretch. Council needs to stop waiting for a tragedy to happen and act now.

My kids walk to school down this road every single day and I am always worried sick. Please just put some speed bumps in.

This road is terrifying. I live just down the street and people treat it like a racetrack constantly. Something needs to change before another kid gets hit.
