The Leeds THT is currently spending money on 100's of uniforms for admin staff at band 2, with a view to being out uniforms for all bands up to and including band 5.
This is clearly to solve the problem of staff
a) not being recognisable within the trust, and
b) being dressed inappropriately
The uniform itself is not the most aesthetically pleasing either.
This petition is to ask the management staff to consider briniging out a different uniform, similar to other businesse. One suggestion is as follows, but all other ideas are also welcome:
- Smart black/d. blue trousers
- White shirt/blouse (with NHS logo on it if necessary)
- Smart black/d. blue jacket
- Smart black shoes
- Badge to wear with shirt/jacket
I have been hearing from so many of you who feel just as frustrated as I do about the lack of professional consideration in these uniform choices. Management has yet to acknowledge our concerns but I am currently drafting a formal letter to ensure they see the pushback from the people who actually have to wear these clothes every day.

Seeing so many of you agree that our professional image deserves better than this current uniform choice is truly validating. This momentum proves that we all want to feel proud and comfortable in what we wear while serving our community.

Ridiculous waste of money. We need more resources for patients not ugly uniforms that no one wants to wear. Get your priorities right!
