I really preferred to not have this unhealthy choice of meters installed in my house. I feel I should have the choice of whether I want to have this or not.

Every state has an opt out, except archaic Oklahoma. I would gladly pay an extra 5 or 10 bucks a month for a meter reader to read my analog meter, isn't that creating jobs anyway? Do NOT charge an obscene fee to opt out either. Hell, we could just write it down ourselves, log into our pso account and pay the thing. I grew up reading our water meter to do the same thing.

I do not want a smart meter forced upon my home!
Most states allow opt-out already. Come on Oklahoma and get on board with preserving individual rights! It is my home and my health. I do NOT want a smart meter!!!

I was essentially blackmailed into allowing a so-called "smart" meter to be installed at my house. I had sent in the required extortion to AEP, but there is no record of it being received, nor has the check cleared my bank. I want my analog meter back, and I don't feel AEP should receive any additional fee for having this meter.
