I checked into this because they came and did this when I was away and climbed over my locked fence. URGH! And at that time it was not "legal" to opt-out. However, now it would be very costly to opt-out and the monthly cost extra IS UNFAIR. $28 A MONTH!

Citizens should not be forced to allow potentially hazardous equipment to be placed on their property. Alternatives should be provided for those affected by such hazardous (i.e. microwave-emitting) equipment.

PSO. I live in Oklahoma and for decades thought the public utility companies were performing a public service and in return were granted a minimum return on their investments. That might have been the case years ago but no longer. Now PSO has become a tyrant and uses intimidation, extortion and threats to their own customers.
The reason they chose not inform their customers before changing out the reliable meters with the "new" AMI meter is because few would have agreed if they had known what was happening. PSO has shown me their true colors, along with the OK Corp. Commission (I guess one should not be surprised here). The public deserves the option to refuse the "cram-down" of these AMI Smart Meters at no cost or fees - fees will hit the elderly and those with diminishing incomes and frail health issues the hardest. The cost of the poor business decisions by PSO / AEP to purchase these AMI meters should be solely born by PSO and not the rate paying customers. I have some additional thoughts regarding PSO and this matter but, being a Christian, it's best I not express those comments since women or children might be reading this forum....

OG&E is my provider. I was never given the option to opt-out. I knew is was installed when I sat down at my dining room table, which is about ten feet from the new meter, and began to have problems with my portable computer/wifi. I would prefer to have it removed due to problems we have experienced after its installation along with the privacy concerns that I have. At a minimum this device should be shielded from the house to prevent interference. And I would like legislative protection from the United Nations Agenda 21 attempt to keep me from providing my own energy, water and managing other resources, including my home improvements, from prosecution or taxation based on false climate change data. And then I want the water run-off tax removed from my water/sewage/trash bill since I provide my own potable water and sewage treatment.

PSO, I have safety and privacy concerns. I've researched how over 100,000 were replaced in Canada due to these "SMART" meters being installed. The collection of data is a huge infraction of our constitutional rights.

Also need to not be charged ANYTHING by ANYONE if one goes completely off grid whether they have their own means of sustainable energy production or not.

Ever since those new meters were put in, my elec bill doubled. Also it is never consistant no matter what. I went on vacation for two weeks and was not even home. I left nothing on. That months bill was a little more than the previous bill, which I stayed home all month. Things need to change

PSO should have had an OPT-IN for INFORMED customers. Guess I would settle for an OPT-OUT since we weren't protected by the OK Corporation Commission and we weren't protected by the Attorney General and we weren't given a choice to begin with. We want our Analog meter back. We did not contract with PSO for a "communications device".
