I didn't want the new type of meter installed but they said they had to change it.

I did not want the smart meter, but I was told we could not opt out. Out monthly usage jumped up when the "smart meter" was installed. Later, within 3 weeks, our dishwasher and dryer both died, so I have been washing dishes by hand and using a family member's washer and dryer for 8 months. Amazingly, our bill continues to climb, in spite of the loss of these 3 large consumers. Our a/c was out for a couple of weeks last August, but our electric bill showed the usage (not cost - usage) was actually more than the year before. I called for an explanation, but I was told I have no recourse for these inconsistencies!! I want out of the smart meter!

It is only right to give people a freedom of choice in this issue.

My wife and I are in BA and did not want the smart meter. We are serviced by AEP/PSO.

We did not wish to have the smart meter installed. The difference in monthly rates are unexplainable. We are serviced by AEP/PSO.

My wife and I did not want this Smart Meter installed. We have Claremore City utilities. The monthly increases in billings have been ridiculous.

I did not want the Smart Meter installed, but was told there was no other option when I called AEP/PSO customer service.

For health(RF radiation) and privacy reasons I did not want one. I notified OG& E via their website, testified at a Oklahoma Corporation Commission hearing, posted notice on my analog meter. While away from home a smart meter was installed on my house.

Smart meter is only smart for monopolistic utility companies!!!

We only accepted the smart meters because of the extremely high fees attached to maintaining the older modelled meters. I believe it was gong to add nearly $300 per year if we'd opted out. The EMR health issue should concern everyone. There are too many unanswered questions about its effect on our children, in particular.

I opted out but was forced to allow it because of the extra costs. Now many are saying bills are much much higher. Im wondering what ours will look like.

I didn't want one, notified OG&E, testified at an Oklahoma Corporation Commission administrative hearing, posted notice of same on my analog meter. Contractors switched the meter while I was away from home. My primary concerns were and are RF exposure and privacy.

Thank you for opting me out of the new 'smart meters'. One was already installed before I knew it.

I asked in writing to be notified when the Smart Meter was to be installed so I had the option to Opt-Out & they did not notify me. I feel PSO has been disingenuous throughout this entire process.
