It is essential to have your voice heard if you want this small dog park. We, as small dog lovers/owners, need to convince the Austin Parks and Recreation Department that having a special designated area at the existing off-leash parks for small dogs is essential to our community. Let your voices be heard, sign this petition and get your neighbors and friends to sign too. Austin already has 12 off-leash parks around the city--which is great. Yet there is not one place in Austin to safely take small dogs to play with eachother off-leash. Small dogs cannot safely play in the same areas as larger dogs.
