Reduce the speed limit to 30 on all rural roads including the A50 through Arclid.

Please reduce speed limit. It's so dangerous outside my house for my kids and animals. Thank you.

Resident, essential for my family's safety

I am frightened to step onto Wallhill Lane, where I live, due to the speed and frequency of cars. The 50 yard walk from our home to our yard is so fast and busy, there are times of the day I daren't walk it.

I live on Wallhill lane and the traffic currently is very fast and too much for a tiny lane. I worry for the young children on the road and the size of large trucks which have started to frequent the lane despite the weight limit

A definite need for this in Smallwood, all the roads are like rat runs for other traffic.

There are no pavements on Congleton Road so walking is hazardous. I think we should have speed bumps and cameras.

My wife was hit by a car on Congleton Road this year, Summer 2016. Two cars met on a narrow piece of road while she was running and both were travelling too fast to stop. This was reported to the police.

There needs to be a speed limit of 30 mph on all the lanes in smallwood. I walk my dogs daily around smallwood and have encountered numerous idiots driving far too fast for our narrow lanes. So I am really hoping something can finally be done to stop them.

Great idea, safer for all road users.

This is a hazardous route also for children who have to wait for the school bus at the side of the road. They have to cross at the top of a hill with a bad bend on the junction with Bank House Lane. A speed limit would make it less dangerous for these children. Also, for those of us turning out of minor lanes along the Congleton Road, visibility is terrible and we all have had near misses on numerous occasions. If traffic comes at a slower speed, this will be made less dangerous. This was a road we used to be able to walk and run along with confidence but more recently, we have found ourselves jumping into the hedge to avoid a collision. All residents have commented that there's going to be a nasty accident some time soon.

Neighbour was recently hit by a car on roads in Smallwood and didn't stop. Cars need to be slowed down before someone is killed...

There should be speed restrictions throughout the village which has long been overdue

Too many accidents. It's through a village, it should be 30mph.

60mph speed limit is dangerous, let's be sensible and make Smallwood SAFE!

I know a young person that was knocked off his bike and sustained serious injuries.
