I have spent the last few mornings watching traffic patterns near the schools and the situation feels more urgent than ever. Every time I see a car barrel through that bowl near the park, I think about why we are doing this. I am currently compiling all of your messages to present to the transportation department so they can see the impact this road has on our daily lives.

Seeing the momentum grow around this street makes me feel like we might finally get the safe crossing zones my kids deserve. I walk these sidewalks every day and watching the city take notice of our daily fear is a massive relief.

Need speed bumps asap. Drivers are reckless through that stretch.
ive lived here 10 years and its only getting worse. cars fly down that hill past the park and never even look for people crossing.
its a school zone for gods sake. slow down or get off the road.
WAY too much speeding. fix it before someone gets hurt bad.
people treat this street like a highway. my kids walk to school here every morning and i am terrified every single day.

the street layout is just bad. everyone uses it as a shortcut to skip traffic and they are always in such a huge rush.
