Most residential roads are 25 mph, but not south burke street. here it is a whopping 40 MPH! there are serious accidents on this road daily. there are many children on this street and on the surrounding streets, and every time they walk outside there door, there lives are at risk. another car could spin out of control and instead of hitting a retaining wall, or a utility pole, or the house down there with a giant boulder in there yard due to repetitive accidents, it could be one of us. or worse, our children. there is a park around the corner, and a church on our street. there are children in most houses on this street. lets change the fate of potential future victims and petition to lower the speed limit. Please help me make a difference.
