The school board finally backed down and reversed their decision regarding our enrollment at Woodland. They underestimated our resolve but they cannot ignore the facts anymore. My sister and I will be starting the year exactly where we belong thanks to all of you.

Hello everyone! First off, we would like to thank all of you for your support. My sister London and I both were not accepted to go to school at Woodland for the 2015-2016 school year. I am the president of HOSA, a world wide organization that is for future healthcare professionals. I worked extremely hard to get that position as president and would hate for all the hard work to be put to waste. My sister is an upcoming freshman from Eagles Landing Middle School. I love the teachers as well as students at Woodland and I have done a whole 360 academically because of how involved and caring the staff is and I would love for my sister to experience the same great school support. We hope to not only change my sisters and I circumstances but rules for Henry County's School Choice program for all students. All signatures count!

The administration at Henry County Schools clearly underestimated how many people are fed up with their rigid and unfair policies. This momentum proves that our community is finished with being ignored while our academic futures are tossed aside.

I couldn't imagine would it would feel like not being able to go to the same school as my sibling! Hope she gets to come to Woodland!

Skyler is a very educated and very involved student. She cares a lot about, not only the school work, but different ways to work and help students at the same time. I would hate to not see Skyler in my 2015-2016 school year. I'm sure that not only myself, but Skyler & I's mutual friends feel the same as well.

Skyler has made such a significant change since moving to Woodland High School , and is HOSA President for the upcoming school year her sister London is following in her footsteps as well , sadly due to the " lottery" system they use for Henry Co they cannot continue to thrive in a much safer environment due to this " Lottery" system. Henry only has 2 High Schools that are good schools one of them being Woodland. So either get control over the county school problem or allow Skyler and her sister London to go to Woodland and get a great education. After all your education is the most important thing ! Period.

I believe Sky & London both deserve to attend Woodland high. If a child has turned their academics completely around why take that away & put them Back in a unhealthy unsafe environment? And why not let a freshmen's first year of high school be with her older sibling? Better environment I say go for it!! Except the girls.. :)

I think since she is so involved it should be allowed for her to go and seeing the positive changes she has made should also be a looked at thing, she and her sister should get to enjoy the choice of woodland so they can grow the way they want and need

Schools need to be calmer and much much safer, there is too much commotion and stress in schools these days. Also needs better materials for people who struggle with reading and writing
